Therapy Sessions

How can I help?

I offer the freedom to talk openly and honestly about the difficulties you are facing, without fear of judgement or expectation.

Often several issues can be present at the same time and sometimes we have buried things long ago that need facing before we can move on. We can look at the past, present and your hopes for the future. Whatever has bought you to counselling can be explored in a safe, friendly environment to help you makes sense of things.

Counselling is about us working together, and my role is to help and support you in developing a greater understanding of yourself, finding clarity surrounding your personal circumstances, and understanding the options and the changes you can make to move forward.

What can you expect?

You can expect a warm, friendly, relaxed space to talk openly about whatever is on your mind.

Counselling sessions are typically 50 mins in length on a weekly basis. I recommend six sessions initially, after that we can talk about the progress we are making and whether it would be beneficial for us to continue. I am happy to work on a short or long term basis to suit your needs.

Our sessions together will provide you with a safe, confidential, relaxed place to share your worries and concerns and to talk through the challenges you are currently facing. Problems can often feel overwhelming and too big to sort out. Sometimes we can feel stuck in a rut. Setting aside time to talk about what is going on, and understand ourselves and our situation better can be the key to finding the way forward.
